Portland Trail Blazers had no Problem Against the Pacers

Portland TrailblazersIndianapolis night lit for the Portland Trail Blazers players who defeated the Indiana Pacers 111-102, despite the desperate attempt from the locals to cut the score from the first period on the game was practically defined with a lead of 12 points, which during the rest of the game could not be reversed.

The score was defined from the very first quarter with, 39-27, 26-27, 22-23 and 24-25, the game had no more emotion after the dominant lead, which was sustained for the rest of the game, for the Indiana players it was obviously a terrible outcome considering that fan support was present until the very last second of the game but the encouragement for their team was not enough for the Pacers to reduce the advantage in the end.

Damian Lillard was the most important scorer in the game with 33 points and 5 rebounds, plus 19 points from Gerald Henderson and C.J. McCollum, along with Meyers Leonard who collaborated with another 17 points, which ultimately allowed the second straight win after the Blazers defeated the Chicago Bulls in the previous game.

On the side of Indiana, Monta Ellis could only achieve 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, plus Jordan Hill ended with 15 points and 5 rebounds. George Hill scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, which did little to prevent the impeccable plays from the rival team that saw its defense-attack transitions were not blocked by his opponent at all.

The result of this match has Portland located in sixth place in the Western Conference with 32 wins and 28 losses, while Indiana holds the same position but in the East with a 31-28 record, both with the possibility of qualifying for the finals. Although this loss is a major blow for the team  they will have to swap that energy to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday February 29 at 7:00 pm, while Oregon team will face New York Knicks on Tuesday Jan. at 7:30 pm.
