The victory on Wednesday night was their fifth straight and gave Boston a 4-0 mark on their Western road trip even though they were missing most of their stars.

Celtics’ Brad Stevens continues to prove he must be strongly considered for the Coach of the Year award as his team continues to thrive this season despite all the injuries the team has faced this season.

The Celtics have all but secured the Eastern Conference’s No. 2 seed. They trail Toronto by three games, but the Toronto Raptors visit Boston Saturday, leaving the door open for them to make one last push before the end of the season.

The Celtics prevailed despite the absences of Al Horford and Marcus Morris, who were out with ankle injuries, who were badly missed to contain Utah’s center Rudy Gobert who is a shot-blocking force.

Brown’s three-pointer, set up by a pass from power forward Semi Ojeleye, sealed the win with 0.3 seconds left in the game.

The Celtics had trailed ever since Utah went on a 15-0 Utah run in the third quarter but used some tough zone defense to crawl all the way back.

Terry Rozier, who went 0-for-5 from beyond the arc over the first three quarters, made three 3-pointers as he scored 11 points in the first 9:17 of the fourth.

Jazz led 94-88 with 2:25 left, but the Celtics didn’t allow Utah didn’t score again as they tightened their defense. The Celtics went on a 9-0 game-ending run and switched back to their zone defense to seal the shocking win.

Celtics young players Jayson Tatum and Rozier shone offensively as they scored 16 and 13 points, respectively.
