Johnny Football and Coach SumlimRookie Head Coach for Texas A&M Kevin Sumlin had a phenomenal first season competing in the South Eastern Conference for the first time in the history of the university.  The Aggies finished #5 in the nation according to the Associated Press poll and they were the only team to defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide who would go on to defeat Notre Dame for their second straight national title.
