On top of the current wave of speculation is Collin Klein the Quarterback from undefeated Kansas State.  It’s his Heisman to lose. If the Wildcats keep winning and he can stay healthy Klein can win it all.

Bookies Licking Their Chops After Showdown Saturday In The SEC

SECIn the hotly contested Southeastern Conference, we had some big games this Saturday. The LSU Tigers and the City of Baton Rouge hosted Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks in a classic SEC battle in Tiger Stadium in front of a capacity crowd on a cool autumn Saturday evening.  LSU is known as being very tough to beat at home, at night.  Sometimes it seems like they have half state of Louisiana there as back-up. Also known as “Death Valley”, LSU stadium is ranked as one of the loudest venues in all of NCAA Football. As it turned out, the young Tiger team needed every voice in the stadium.  They won the game by a final score of 23-21 in a game that came right down to the wire.  LSU went into the contest as 2.5 point favorites.  The odds makers were very close but in the end the Tigers did not cover the spread.  Both teams are now at 6-1 on the season and move on to their tuffest games of the year.
