The Ethics Of Wagering On Line

Mobile Betting SoftwareCheck this out… a billionaire casino magnate recently said in an article in Forbes magazine that online gambling is “a threat to our society…a toxin which all good people ought to resist.” Does anyone else out there feel that this statement might be just a bit hypercritical?  The man owns casinos all over the world.

Us Open Odds Tumble As Tiger Fumbles

Tiger WoodsThe professional handicappers out there in Las Vegas are very, very good. They nail down point spreads and totals with uncanny accuracy. But, sometimes they blow it big. Every book in Vegas had Tiger Woods as the run-away favorite to win the US Open at Merion… even though he came in 64th in his last outing… even though he had an injury.

The big winner on the day was veteran NASCAR driver Tony Stewart who has been in somewhat of a dry spell of late.. 30 races in a row with a win is a long dry spell on the Sprint Car circuit. As a matter of fact, Stewart had not even had a top 5 finish this entire season. Continue Reading →

New San Francisco StadiumThe new ‘House That Blue Jeans Built’ has already been selected to host Super Bowl 50 in 2016 even though the new facility is only about 20% complete at this point.  Levi’s Stadium is being built out in Santa Clara and will be the new home of the San Francisco 49ers football team.

The new stadium will be the logical successor to the current state of the art facility in Arlington, Texas… the home of the Dallas Cowboys.  Just as the Arlington stadium wowed the world when it opened, the new Levi’s stadium is planned to go the Cowboys home field one better. Continue Reading →
